About Us

Like watching the sun rays gently
glow through drowsy wisps.
The love for, and of, the Amalta tree.
Petals swinging in poetry.
The grace of a bold colour, worn tenderly.
The love for, and of, the Amalta tree.

It can be missed in the busy streets of a city, tucked away in the corner
near a traffic light, or can be seen growing amidst the grime. It can be
lost under the shadow of a Deodar tree. Or perhaps a Banyan that has
beenstanding too long. But, no matter where it grows,
the Amalta tree is always special to me.
As are the plethora of artists spread across this country just like the Amalta tree. Lost in the shadows of the vast culture that surrounds them. Looming around
in unexpected places, all growing in a world full of creativity, standing subtly,
not asking you to see, but simply being.
Amalta is a tribute to these works of art, those that don’t strive for perfection
but simply are for the beauty of creation, adorning the corners of
your life and your home.
It’s an extension of Pale Pink Studio, a studio where you find pieces depicting the subtle beauty of nature in watercolours. Where flowers bloom every day
and the hues carry on.
